Corine Schminke

Study includes scholarships at the Chicago Art Institute and the Fine Arts Center, Colorado Springs. Also attended California State University at Long Beach, Orange Coast College and California State University Fullerton. She has been the recipient of innumerable top awards over the years. The internationally famous painter, Hans Burkhardt, chose her painting for a purchase award at Bowers Museum in Orange County and five of her paintings were used by Hitachi America for their Masterpiece TV series. She has been represented in galleries across the USA as well as in Paris, where she was honored with a very successful one woman show.

Corine was a founder of the 300 member Torana Art League, one of the most influential art groups in Southern California. She also conducted and taught life painting classes for 15 years before devoting full time to her work.

Her paintings are in private and business collections in the U. S., and Europe.
