Somehow, one of St Petersburg artist Caleb‘s paintings ended up on a fine Apple iPhone application. This is a rendering of the St John’s Bridge which crosses the Willamette River on the north end of Portland, Oregon.
Caleb- for rendering so true, it’s used on navigational devices.

St Petersburg Artist Caleb Presents New Paintings

July 13, 2008 under local artists

St Petersburg artist Caleb has three new paintings on offer at Interior Motives. These are all 22×30 acrylic paintings on gessoed watercolor paper. Caleb has been using marble flour as an additive to his paints to add a matte effect and make his paintings more “pastel-ish”, as he puts it. “I love pastels,” he says, “but they are so delicate, and the dust! Oy. These acrylic paintings are damn near indestructible, though.” We’ll take your word on that, Caleb.
