St Pete Saturday Art Market Last Weekend
Balmy temperatures and blue skies made it a perfect day at the St Petersburg Saturday Art Market at shady Williams Park in Downtown St Pete, Florida. Next weekend the market will feature scores of visiting food and crafts vendors in addition to the regular crew of artists and performers, so be there. You’ll need the fond memories to get you through the steamy summer.
I have visited the Williams Park Art Market. I think it has so much potential. The day I was there it was dead. The pics shown here are nothing like the day I visited. The artists were all there waiting eagerly for customers. There we only street people and those who stumbled upon the market. It was deserted. I don’t understand why they have this art market in Williams Park so far away from the Saturday Morning Market on Central. I suppose it is about space. However, I think it is a true shame that this market is in a way segregated. It would be so much better if it was included in the primary Saturday market.
