The Dazzio Art Experience Grand Opening

ST PETERSBURG, Florida ( March 31st, 2010) Judith Dazzio, St. Petersburg’s most respected art teacher, opens her own school of art on Central Ave in the St Petersburg Arts District between 6th and 7th street north. The school and gallery will feature Judith’s tutorials along with those of eight other distinguished art teachers.

Ms Dazzio received her B.S. in art education from the University of New Hampshire and completed her graduate work at Massachusetts College of Art and Boston University. While teaching & living in New Orleans she became Louisiana’s State Director of Art Education.

Already she has attracted a diverse stable of teachers for various media, such as artist Joseph Melancon, nationally-known watercolor artist with signature status with the national Watercolor Society, who taught drawing and painting at Eastfield College in Dallas, Texas for many years.

The school has already started classes and they are filling quickly. The gallery will feature Judith’s work and that of many other artists, as well as unique crafts.

Most of the teachers will be attending the Grand Opening. There will be a silent auction and a raffle to benefit the Dazzio Scholarship Program for Art Students.

Epstein’s formal training includes study at Port Royal Academy, Paris, The Corcoran School, Washington, D.C., Tulane University, New Orleans, LA., and the American Film Institute.
