Master Florida and Southeastern U.S. landscape painter Peter Pettegrew has been commissioned to execute a large (50 x70 inch) painting of an Everglades scene by a private art collector, announced his agent James Cournoyer of Seven North today.
The artwork will depict Caxambas Bay as seen in a south-facing view from Marco Island in the Gulf of Mexico. Although Pettegrew is already at work on the painting, it is not expected to be completed until late September of 2008. Look for a good-sized photographic reproduction of the finished art on these pages next fall.
